What a B.A. will get you if you're not paying attention

Has my life really telescoped down so small that I consider my day successful if I managed to clean the bathrooms and refrain from yelling at my oldest daughter? It would appear so. I found myself feeling all self-congratulatory yesterday for just these reasons and these reasons alone. Sigh. Maybe I should have gotten my degree in home ec or something...

You have a baby,a toddler and still managed to clean the bathrooms? Good for you. I'm impressed.

I think those are perfectly good reasons to congratulate yourself! I was all proud of myself for not losing my mind yesterday when Audrey cried for three hours straight. I was all thinking that I may be cut out for this mom thing after all. Oh, and I made supper too!

Sugarmama, you have just got to stop feeling intellectually inadequate because you're a SAHM. You're smarter than that (get it?). Not yelling at Sister these days is more than successful, it's a miracle - you have a teenager trapped in the boy of an elementary school kid. And Bean is a wild woman. It's a miracle to me that you get as much as you get done, done.

I'm totally voting for you for president. If you can manage that stuff, you ought to be able to get us out of Iraq.

I'm impressed! My bathroooms haven't been cleaned in a few weeks. Besides, you are doing something truly important - raising children.

Hahaha, I consider those successful days as well, and would be self-congratulatory, too, if I had a successful day!

I hate to clean the bathroom. All boys here if you know what I mean.

I would love to go a day without yelling here. I can only dream.
