I'm soaking in it

I just want to record here that saying yes means cleaning up a lot more fucking messes. I can't get dinner made, I can't catch my breath, I can't find the time to blog, and I sure as hell can't find the time to do my own projects.

I'd like to try and give this new policy--because that's what it's become--a couple weeks, but I'm really not sure if I can make it that long!

If you end up limiting it to certain days a week or certain hours a day based on your schedule it is okay. Sometimes we try to be everything to everyone else, and don't do what we as mothers need. With that said, my recent post is on guilt so what do I know?

Ha! Yea, it's a lot of mess, but how 'bout restricting all projects to the table? Of course, you have to clean it before you eat, but I just shove everything to one end of the table. But, it would be a good time to teach, "clean up your own mess" skills, wouldn't it?? LOL

Could you allow the projects in the kitchen while you're making dinner? I used to do that. Then I could watch and cook.
Sad truth is though, that I still have yet to regain much of my own project time.
