Things to do besides gardening

Stay inside where there's air-conditioning, put my feet up, and watch back-to-back episodes of "What Not to Wear" and "10 Years Younger."

Contemplate culling closet and dresser of old clothes for the thrift shop...but don't.

Make tiny peanut butter cookies with M&M's pressed into the tops with Bean to be served on her new tin toy tea set.

Not mind when the neighbor kids come over to play with Sister and Bean and eat hot cookies.

Read blogs.

Make chicken-fried steak with gravy for dinner. (Yee-haw!)

Enjoy the break from the 90 degree heat and only a couple of times peek out the window to see if the 7 potted plants still left are wilting yet.

My daughter loves What Not To Wear. The cookies sounded good. It was hot today.

I've not kept up with my reading lately - so I didn't know about your news!! Congrats!! I'm glad things are going well and your new little person sounds healthy!!
Since I have to do my on line stuff at work, the blogs I was reading and the time I spent posting was starting to take too much time, so I've had to cut back a little!! I'll drop by every once in a while to check on your progress! Happy!! Happy!!

I like your things to do besides gardening! If you're bored, you can always play along with this meme I tagged you with. I know you don't like memes, so you don't have to. But it would be cool to see your answers if you do!

I do feel it some - but I wear Sea-Bands - little elastic bands with a pressure point button that goes on the inside of your wrists - so I don't get sick! I was afraid to go on my first cruise because I could even feel sea-sick on our ski boat!! But the bands keep me feeling just fine!

I LOVE 10 years younger. So awesome. Have you ever seen "How clean is my House?" a british show. So good, but so disgusting. Makes the poor english look like such slobs. Not that we couldn't find that sort of filth anywhere else in the 'civilized' world.
