I got tired of putting her back in the bed, and she then slept with me for the next three long years!!!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10811460930343769653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18175767.post-35724252683212633092008-05-23T06:46:00.000-07:002008-05-23T06:46:00.000-07:00we just moved charlie to a twin bed and i must adm...we just moved charlie to a twin bed and i must admit - one of the things i love about it is that now when he wants me to lay down with him, i can. (i mean, have you ever seen a seven month pregnant woman trying to climb into a crib??) he's really quite snuggly.

i'm a believer in teaching kids to sleep independently, but i gotta say - as others have said - I know they're not going to want to snuggle with mama forever, so I'm taking it when I can.kathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18184350461322076868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18175767.post-23946629416554302292008-05-22T06:50:00.000-07:002008-05-22T06:50:00.000-07:00Sleep is so so sweet. But there's no chance I can sleep with her thrashing around next to me. Sigh. Sometimes, I sneak away and sleep in HER bed. But usually I try to snuggle her up, and catch a few winks. I know in a few years this is all over, and I will SO miss it.Manhattan Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00198601798442559940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18175767.post-6240724439305711432008-05-22T05:54:00.000-07:002008-05-22T05:54:00.000-07:00Sleep is Delicious, I agree. We will have the baby in a bassinet in our room, which I'm hoping won't be too terrible since last time A was in her own room next door and I don't know what I would have done without the space... Maybe I won't be so freaky next time...

But you. I think everything will be fine. She will grow out of this habit and if you get more rest this way then so be it.Mama Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13581319298585887199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18175767.post-81838871802440219402008-05-21T20:10:00.000-07:002008-05-21T20:10:00.000-07:00I say relax about it, if possible. Either way it ...I say relax about it, if possible. Either way it sounds like you aren't sleeping much at that point. When they are grown you will look back on that with great fondness (ask me, it was 18 years ago). When you have had enough, you will endure the separation cries, as necessary. It is amazing to me that it has been 18 years since I first went through all that. And to put it all in perspective...my youngest is nearly 13. And because I know that closeness will all be over soon, I love it when she comes to snuggle in bed. Then...we both sleep wonderfully.Celestehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07425523751972449127noreply@blogger.com
